Tech training partnership bodes well for the region

Lee Farabaugh, co-founder of Core10 and NewForce Employer Partner, speaks as Generation West Virginia hosts a news conference to announce the launch of a the new program "NewForce" on Thursday, Oct. 11, at Mountwest Community and Technical College in Huntington.

As with many other smaller communities throughout the nation, the Tri-State area may be getting a late start in the software development industry, but it is making progress. The latest indication of that came last week with the official launch of New Force, a new six-month intensive technology training program.
