One of our guiding principles at Core10 is providing opportunities for people and businesses to grow. But how do we do that? We seek, build, grow, and honor relationships. That’s why we’re thrilled to have someone like our VP of Revenue, Drew Cranston, on board.
Drew joined Core10 in March of this year, and brings more than a decade of sales, development, and account management experience. Plus, as a father of four, he definitely understands the importance of multitasking!
“Already in his short time with Core10, I can see that Drew is a great fit. His industry experience, combined with his natural curiosity, creativity, and drive to understand our customers and their needs, sets him apart.”
-Tony Nigrelli, Core10 VP of Customer Experience

How do you spend your time away from work?
With four kids ranging in age from 10 to three, most of my time away from work is spent on various ball fields across Middle Tennessee. When we do get breaks in the schedule, we make sure to make it down to the beach a few times every year.
The term 'digital transformation' has been used a lot. What does it mean to you?
The word that comes to my mind is “connect”. Whether that is connecting data, systems, and technology; or connecting with current and prospective customers and end users. The folks winning right now are the ones who are using data, technology, and AI to engage with and deliver a better user experience to their customers.
What do you think are the biggest challenges facing community banks and financial service organizations in the post-pandemic world?
Being forced to finally recognize and acknowledge the definition of “customer service” has changed drastically. The mega-banks, neo-banks, and challenger banks are using technology and data to deliver the user experience and “service” today’s consumers demand.
What do you like best about how Core10 is solving those challenges today?
Core10 provides the expertise and ability for community banks and technology to connect in a cost- effective manner with our Hereshore® model, keeping talent to local markets. As a result, we’re delivering a huge economic impact to the communities our employees call home. Essentially, Core10 can help community banks and credit unions level the playing field with the big boys by helping them have the ability to deploy current and new technology to their customers.
You've been working in fintech a while, what excites you about this industry?
I love the underdog mentality and the creativity and innovation being introduced to the market every day. I have had the privilege of meeting and spending time with many of the leaders developing products and services and am in awe at the creativity and talent within the space.
What is your favorite part of your role?
Helping folks solve a problem that leads to their company achieving the goals they set out to accomplish. As well as getting to meet leaders of both fintechs and FIs and learning something new in every conversation. I tend to root for the underdog, and I love seeing grit, determination, and unbridled commitment lead to success — when on paper, you seem to be outmatched.
